8.5hrs for nothing. It took us four hours to even get the clinical observation to see if a nurse would even see us. I got hit by a car there were sick children everywhere to even get to the first step. Disgusting

Cut your wait times, get more nurses, sort out the queues and triage properly.

They explained what they were doing at every stage of my accessment so that I could understand easily

As I could not walk far or sit down for long I was collected by ambulance and taken to A & E on a stretcher. On discharge the nurse asked me how I was travelling home and I asked for an ambulance and to be taken on a stretcher, he said that would take hours to come so I phoned my son to pick me up and the nurse arranged for a porter to take me to the entrance on a stretcher. When the porter arrived he had a wheelchair and kept saying he can’t take me to the entrance on a stretcher. I traveled home in the passenger seat on the lowest recline position it wasn’t very comfortable and I felt every bump on the way home.

Apart from the very long waiting time, the nurse and the doctor gave me good treatment and information.

To update the waiting patients about expected waiting time while they waiting if possible.

I was there for 8hrs not even seen by a doctor . I asked for my blood sugar levels to be checked and was left for over an hour before someone wanted to help me by this time I’d had enough and discharged myself as I was in a lot of pain with fractured ribs. Everyone was moaning about poor management and the long waiting times . The NHS has gone to shambles in my opinion and more hospitals needed !!!!

It would’ve been nice to be informed why I hadn’t seen a doctor . I tried to speak with someone and was told in a stroppy attitude that they was busy then they left the room and didn’t acknowledge me when they returned . To be left sitting around for such a long time and not even be seen is a joke !!!
